General Information:

Copies of a student’s transcript will be issued only at the student’s written request. You may order your transcript in person at the Registrar’s Office, Gilmour Hall Room 108 or by mail (click here for our office hours and mailing address) or by fax (905-527-1105).

Transcript request forms are available in person from our office or by clicking on the Transcript Request Form.

The student’s signature is required for the production and release of transcripts. The Registrar’s Office cannot be responsible for transcripts lost or delayed in the mail.

The number of transcript orders received in the Registrar’s Office can vary greatly depending on the time of the year.
Normal volume months are March, April, July, August, November and December. Peak volume months are January, February, May, June, September and October.

Processing times for normal volume months for regular service transcript requests are five to seven business days. During peak volume months allow up to ten working days for regular service requests due to the high volume of requests received. Please plan to order your transcript (s) accordingly.

If you require a transcript within less time, a rush service is available. If requested prior to noon on a business day, the transcript will be available by noon the following business day.

There is currently no cost for the regular service production or mailing of transcripts. A limit of five transcripts per request form completed will be in effect.

For Rush Service, there is a cost of $15.00 per transcript.

If you wish the transcript to be faxed, a $5.00 cost per copy applies for faxing to Canadian destinations and a charge of $10.00 applies for faxing to destinations outside Canada.

If you wish to have the transcripts couriered you will be charged a fee for courier service which varies depending on the destination. Please contact the Registrar’s Office at 905 525-4600 for more information on courier fees.


Payment for rush service transcripts, faxing or courier services can be made by cash (in person only), or by Visa or Mastercard by completing the appropriate section of the transcript form. The cardholder’s signature must be included on the request section.


In accordance with University policy, official transcripts will not be released to students who have an outstanding account with the University.
